Tracking patients and medical equipment in real time at the Jan Yperman hospital
Telindus and AeroScout have deployed an innovative solution for asset management, temperature monitoring and patient and staff safety. The project at the Jan Yperman hospital constitutes one of the first of its kind in the Belgian hospital sector. With a state-of-the-art network, the hospital is capitalizing on its investment by opting for a "Wi-Fi–Based Active RFID solution", adopting a wide range of AeroScout applications for tracking patients and medical equipment in real time.

Belgacom today announces that Jan De Schepper, Vice-President Corporate Market within the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) and CEO of Telindus NV, is leaving the Belgacom Group by mutual consent and on good terms. After his successful contribution to the integration of Telindus in the Belgacom Group Jan De Schepper decided to pursue other career opportunities.
